1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us:
- Account information: your name and email address when you sign up (via email/password or Google Sign-In).
- Order information: your phone number, contact email, preferred contact method, business/physical address, and details about the website you want built.
- Payment reference: when you pay via Mobile Money or bank transfer, you submit a transaction reference number so we can verify your payment. We do not collect or store your card numbers, Mobile Money PIN, or banking passwords.
- Contact form messages: if you message us through our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process and deliver the website order you've placed
- To communicate with you about your order, including status updates and invoices
- To verify payments you've submitted
- To respond to questions sent through our contact form
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
To run OrderMySite, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party services, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:
- Firebase (Google): handles account login and stores your order data securely.
- EmailJS: sends order confirmation and notification emails.
- Formspree: processes messages submitted through our contact form.
- Google Fonts: loads the fonts used on this site, which involves a request to Google's servers.
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data they process.
4. Cookies
OrderMySite uses only essential, functional cookies/browser storage required to keep you securely logged in. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track your browsing activity across other websites.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure) and is protected by security rules that restrict access so that you can only view and manage your own orders, and only authorized administrators can view all orders.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill your order. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing francismwaka99@gmail.com. You can also update your name directly from your account, and delete individual orders are removed by us upon request.
8. Children's Privacy
OrderMySite is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
